BiographyLillian Russell (born Helen Louise Leonard) was an American stage actress in the 1880s-1910s. Her fourth husband was Alexander Pollock Moore, owner of the Pittsburgh Leader; after her marriage in 1912, Russell retired from stage and started a multi-faceted career as lecturer, columnist, advocate, recruiter, and activist.
