DescriptionBlack wood and metal artificial leg. Prosthetic limb's structure is wood with bands of metal (copper?) wrapping around front and back. Upper leg support with an open cylindrical-shaped hole to fit leg. Remnants of leather straps attached to the front of the leg support. Smaller diameter cylindrical elongated bottom section. The shop owner purportedly made it for a friend who had lost a leg. Donor Linda Swab received it from a McKeesport woman who owned an antique/gift store and was given the leg by her father, who told her the story.
