Historical NotesTool used by Joseph M. Lejeune. Lejeune worked at Jones and Laughlin Steel Company in the South Side. Lejeune was born February 1875 in Alsacié-Lorraine, France. In 1886, he left France with his family and settled in the South Side of Pittsburgh. By age 13, he was employed as a water boy at J&L and continued working there for the next 55 years. He worked in steel production and fabrication.
