Historical NotesPainting of St. Nicholas Catholic Church by a friend of donor Lillian S. Hasko named Eleanor Harmon-Adamo. St. Nicholas parish is the oldest Croatian Catholic parish in the United States. The painting depicts the second church built for the parish in Troy Hill. It was torn down in 2013 to make room for Route 28 expansion and because the current parish said it was too expensive to keep.
