Historical NotesChristie Kimball was a freshman and goalie for Pine-Richland Girls Soccer Team in the 2005 season. She played in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Class AAA Girls’ Soccer Championship in 2005 for Pine-Richland. Pine-Richland defeated the number one nationally ranked girls’ soccer team, Owen J. Roberts High School Wildcats. It was the first time Pine-Richland won the title since 1996, and only the third time a team in Western Pennsylvania won the title. These goals represent the growth of women’s sports in Western Pennsylvania.
