Microphone flag is a cube shape with a black background and white circle with black, horizontal lines in the middle on each vertical side; middle of circle is a black number "4". Top and bottom of microphone flag are black with a white border and a cylindrical cutout going through the middle; hole on top is bigger than the corresponding hole on the bottom. Historical NotesThis is a microphone flag from Pittsburgh's WTAE on Channel 4. This microphone flag is part of a collection donated by John Poister, who spent his career working for local radio and television studios. Over the years, as stations changes their logos, the older mic flags were discarded, and that is when Poister started to collect them.
