DescriptionFlashlight in the shape of a Heinz ketchup bottle, in original product packaging. Plastic flashlight is red with integral white cap (rotates for power control); white neck label and body label have green and gold borders with black, red, and green product and maker text; body label is keystone-shaped. Bottom of bottle is flashlight lens. Flashlight is enclosed in clear molded plastic that is adhered to rectangular paperboard backer. Front of backer has yellow and white background, red band across top, photo of product in use, two instructional diagrams, and red, red-brown, and black product and maker text. Reverse of backer is brown. At the top of the backer, above the flashlight, is an opening for hanging product in retail display.DimensionsHeight x Width x Depth: 11 x 6 x 2.313 in. Historical NotesKetchup flashlight. Part of a collection of Heinz giveaways and employee gifts belonging to Toni Graupe, who was a long-time employee of the company. Graupe was the daughter of German immigrants, and she grew up on Voskamp Street in Spring Garden before the family moved to 3681 Spring Garden Avenue where she lived the rest of her life with her sister, they had no children. Graupe retired from the Heinz Company in 1990 after working for the company for 47 years. Graupe worked in the insurance department. She was also a lifelong member of St. Aloysius Church in Troy Hill.
