Historical Notes2012 Pittsburgh Rugby Club jersey from championship game. The Pittsburgh Angels, part of the Pittsburgh Rugby Club, are a women’s DI rugby team. In 2012 and 2014, the team won the national championship for the DII level. This amateur team consistently ranks nationally. Jaime Filipek served as captain for both years the championship was won. This jersey was worn by Jaime in the 2012 championship game. It represents the growth of women in Western Pennsylvanian sports and the continued tradition of sporting success in the city of Pittsburgh.
