Front has white band across center bordered on top and bottom with black bands; white band has black text; to the viewer's left of the text is a white star inside a gold-brown square. Reverse side is white. Front of proper right end has rectangular panel of white Velcro hook sewn to it. Back of proper left end has rectangular panel of white Velcro loop sewn to it. Historical NotesUnited Soccer League Championship captain's armband. Provided by the USL Championship to their teams, this is one of the armbands worn in matches by the captain. Kenardo Forbes served as the Pittsburgh Riverhounds' captain semi-regularly in 2019 and began regularly holding the honor from 2020 through 2023.Label TextThis Jamaican native competed for his home country’s national team in three matches in 2010. After stops with the indoor Syracuse Silver Knights (2011-18) and the USL’s Rochester Rhinos, where he won a title in 2015, Forbes signed with the Riverhounds before the 2018 season. The team has qualified for the playoffs every year since Forbe’s arrival, winning the Players’ Shield for the best regular season record in 2023. The midfielder holds multiple USL and Riverhounds records, has been named a First Team or Second Team All-USL Championship player (2018-2023), and was one of three finalists for the league’s Most Valuable Player award in 2019. .
