DescriptionFramed pastel portrait on rectangular paper and mounted on canvas or linen substrate which is nailed to rectangular wooden board. Seated bust portrait depicts man in three-quarter view facing slightly proper left and gazing directly at viewer. Man has light-colored skin and short brown-black hair, beard, and mustache. Man wears a black cap, black suit jacket, white collared shirt, and white bowtie. Man has slight smile. Background is varied browns and grays. Reverse of wooden board is backed with rectangular brown paperboard.
Gold painted rectangular wooden frame. Front has repeated carved fan design. Interior band of gold painted trim. Exterior reeded band. Bottom center has mounted brass plate with engraved text.
