DescriptionChristmas tree ornament. Flat, circular, slightly convex aluminum ornament; front is decorated with a Christmas ornament ball motif with central Pittsburgh skyline above slogan; circle of Pittsburgh bridge motifs around perimeter. Reverse is tooled metal. Ornament is suspended from a gray satin ribbon that is tied in a knot at the top. Rectangular paper information sheet features photographic image of the Pittsburgh skyline with gradient yellow sky and river in foreground surmounted by light gray slogan. Historical NotesWendell August Forge produced this "Stronger Than Hate" ornament to raise funds for the Squirrel Hill synagogue shooting victims. Proceeds from the sale benefitted the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh and the Department of Safety Fund to help the injured Pittsburgh police officers.
