Historical NotesPittsburgh Hard Hats Softball pennant. The Pittsburgh Hard Hats were a men's professional slow-pitch softball team from 1977-1980. The team started out playing in Munhall, Pennsylvania, then moved to Aliquippa, and finished playing in Lower Burrell. The pennant belonged to donor Michael Mikula's uncle, Andrew Waszyn, who had it on his wall for years. The donor got the pennant after his uncle went away to college.
