Historical NotesIron City Beer can featuring the 1971 Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team. In their first full season at Three Rivers Stadium, the Pirates made history with their fourth World Series victory, defeating the Baltimore Orioles in a seven game series that included the first World Series night game. Roberto Clemente used the national stage to demonstrate his superstar status by batting .414 and winning the Series MVP award.
