Historical NotesLambda Foundation 1974-1994 20th Anniversary Picnic plastic mug. The Lambda foundation was incorporated in 1983 as a funding organization for the LGBTQ community in Pittsburgh. The first grants, given in 1984, were to Dignity Pittsburgh and the Gay and Lesbian Community Center.
