MarksThere is a number "4" on the base of the bottle. On the back of the bottle, on the bottom rim, states "1 FLUID QUART". Under the lip of the opening of the bottle, there is a "GE".
Historical NotesPure Natural Waters Company bottle. The Pure Natural Waters Company was founded c. 1900 by Clifton H. Close with offices in the Terminal Warehouse on the South Side. They transferred to 415 Gettysburg Street in the East End until c. 1936. The founder passed in 1944, but the company existed until at least 1953. They bottled and sold both natural and carbonated spring water. They had a signature Koldrok club soda as well as ginger ales, lime dry, grapefruit dry and other flavored carbonated beverages. Their water came from a well at Reynolds and Gettysburg Street.
