Historical NotesThis metal crucifix was affixed to the tripod-style stand and used in the Croatian-owned Stephens Funeral Home, owned by St. Nicholas Croation R.C. Church parishioners Paul and Genevieve Stephens, located on Cedar Avenue in Pittsburgh's North Side. The crucifix was positioned next to the body of the deceased as a sign that the deceased was a Christian.
