DescriptionLog cabin pattern quilt. Nearly square. Forty-nine squares (7x7) in various patterned fabrics of all colors. Green border with red edging. Alternating darker diamonds of fabrics and lighter diamonds of fabrics form an overall pattern in the quilt. Reverse is paisley-patterned fabric.DimensionsLength x Width x Depth: 75 × 74.5 × 0.25 in. Historical NotesAn early 1900s “log cabin” quilt made by Susan Burns Lee. The Lee farm was/is in Cross Creek, Pennsylvania. It was a Land Grant farm for over 250 years. Susan Burns Lee is the grandmother of the donor Susan Anderson-Krieg.
