Historical NotesGlass light bulb from Anderson Farm that was used to decorate their Christmas tree. Collection of items from the Anderson Farm which was located in what is now the Brookline neighborhood of Pittsburgh. The farm was started around 1890 by Mary and James Anderson, the donor’s paternal great grandparents. She believes it was the last working farm in city limits. The family sold the last of the land in 1930 to the Brookline Community Center. Mary and James’ son William had a son named William Jr. who is the donor’s father.
