Historical NotesMacbeth glass tumblers with original box. Macbeth Evans Glass Company formed in 1899 with the combination of two smaller glass works that specialized in lamp chimneys; they started to produce tumblers in the 1920s. In 1937, they were bought by Corning Glass Works of New York, but continued to operate under the same name until the late 1940s.
