Historical NotesAn Allis-Chalmers tie-clip from donor Marcia Sutherland's father Milan P. Getting. Milan P. Getting worked for the company as an apprentice in late 1920s/early 1930s and moved up to head of research and development when he graduated in 1972. Part of a collection related to the Getting family, a prominent Czechoslovak family in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
