Historical NotesPittsburgh Pirates Rennie Stennet “7 for 7, September 16, 1975” Pin. Stennet was a former second baseman who played for the Pirates from 1971 to 1979. The pin commemorates his 1975 landmark as the only baseball player in the 20th century to go seven for seven in a nine-inning game.
