Label TextIn many Carpatho-Rusyn villages textile production enabled the villagers to earn a living. The skills and art involved in creating textiles came to America with the immigrants. Helen Timo, a Carpatho-Rusyn, made this rag rug. It was woven on a large loom, from scraps and leftover fabric.
