Historical NotesWhen the George Westinghouse Museum closed in 2007, the collection was transferred to the Heinz History Center. The original donor was H. Gordon Armstrong.Label TextThis model of a Westinghouse atomic power plant was donated, in its original carton, by retiree H. Gordon Armstrong. It was put together by Docent Dick Groninger, a task which took (according to his wife) 65 hours. The scale is one-sixteenth of an inch to one foot. Figure the inches represented here and multiply by 16 feet to get an approximate size of the plant.
