Historical NotesPart of a collection related to the donor Robert Siedlarski's father's work in the mills. The donor's father worked in the J&L steel mill Pittsburgh Works after serving with the Army in WWII. He started out in labor gang and worked his way up in the mill until retirement. During WWII, he was captured in northern Africa and ended up in Germany. Also during the war, he shipped into Iran before moving out to northern Africa.
