Historical NotesPart of a collection of soccer clothing, equipment, and trophies documenting both the Pittsburgh Raptors and the soccer career of local athlete Paul Paradise. As a star midfielder/forward at Plum High School, Paradise scored 78 career goals to go along with 56 assists. He also played for club soccer for Century United and the Pittsburgh Raptors. In addition to earning numerous awards throughout Pennsylvania, Paradise was selected to attend the illustrious Adidas ESP camp in 2005. The Pittsburgh Raptors compete nationally in tournaments featuring the three-on-three player format. The collection was donated by John McCormick, the founder and director of coaching for the Raptors.
