Historical NotesThis engraved presentation goblet was obtained by the donor's maternal grandfather on a trip to the German town of Wenthole. On the trip he visited the family glass factory and was given the goblet. Label TextImmigrant Arnold Koch brought back this engraved wine glass and colorless tumbler after visiting the family glass factory in Wenthole, Germany in 1881. Koch returned often to his homeland and usually came back to Pittsburgh with gifts of glass.
