Wide mouth with inset rim inside. Round foot. Raised retailer text on the underside around the perimeter top and perimeter bottom.Dimensions7.75 x 2.75 x 3.125 in. (19.7 x 7 x 7.9 cm)
InscriptionsUnderside at center has white paint(?) with handwritten in black ink "E-33".
MarksRaised text on the underside around the perimeter top "CRUIKSHANK BROS & CO." and perimeter bottom "ALLEGHENY, PA.".
Historical NotesCruikshank Bros. & Company is mentioned in various bulletins and publications in 1895, 1900, 1904, and 1918. Cruikshank Bros & Company is mentioned in the Pennsylvania Department of Factory Inspector Annual Report, Volume 7, in the year 1897 as being located on Jackson Street. They were a competitor of the H.J. Heinz Company.
