On the side of the button is a circle with a diamond in the middle; above the diamond is typed "IJWU" in blue and beneath the diamond is "Union Made" printed in blue. There is a second blue mark on the edge of the pin but it is too small to read.
Historical NotesPart of a collection belonging to Bernie Burns. The collection documents Firefighters Local No. 1, the firefighting union of which Bernie Burns was the president; his life as a firefighter; and additional items that document growing up in Lawrenceville in the 1960s and 1970s.
