(13.5 × 7.5 cm)InscriptionsAt the top, there is an image of an eagle holding a banner that reads "DEMOCRACY." Under this reads "POLK"; the "p" and "l" are a smaller font than the "o" and "k". Below this reads "THE YOUNG HICKORY, / DALLAS, AND VICTORY." Under this is the coat of arms of Pennsylvania, and below the coat of arms is a piece of fabric that reads "F. R. Shunk" and covers the name "Muhlenberg", which is visible from the back. Beneath the piece of fabric is the word "AND", and under this reads "Hartshorne.
Historical NotesA small piece of fabric reading "FR SHUNK" was glued onto the ribbon covering the name "MUHLENBERG". This was apparently done so after Muhlenberg, the gubernatorial candidate of Pennsylvania, died and Shunk replaced him.
