Historical NotesThis stick was used by Pete Backor during his time with the Pittsburgh Hornets. The hockey stick was obtained by R. Morris Glick and his son, donor Jim Glick, who often attended Pittsburgh Hornets games at the Duquesne Gardens. R. Morris Glick, worked for Harmony Short Line from c. 1919 until the company ceased service in 1961. Harmony ran routes across western Pennsylvania and the tri-state area and was the charter company for many of the local universities and sports teams, including the Pittsburgh Hornets.
