Historical NotesCampaign button for John Heinz, who ran for Congress in the early 1970s. He soon became the youngest member of the 92nd Congress and maintained a successful political career. In 1991, he and four others were killed when a helicopter blade hit the bottom of the plane he was riding on a business trip to Philadelphia.
