Historical NotesOlde Frothingslosh was a limited-production product of the Pittsburgh Brewing Company. The brand is distinguished not so much by its contents, but by the tongue-in-cheek humorous advertising that accompanied the issue. This particular can appears to have never been filled with liquid, possible made as a souvenir by a brewery worker. The label notes that Olde Frothingslosh Beer was first introduced in 1955 as the ale with the foam on the bottom.Label TextThroughout the twentieth century, various Pittsburgh breweries and bottlers have produced colorful and unique beverage containers.
