Historical NotesPittsburgh Pirates "Back to Back Eastern Division Champions" vinyl banner from 1992 commemorating consecutive Eastern Division championship wins in 1991 and 1992. This sign was hung in the street by the City of Pittsburgh and Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the wins. The Pirates lost for the second consecutive time against the Atlanta Braves for a chance at the World Series.
