Historical NotesPlaster framed WWI portrait of William Himmelstein, donor William Himmelstein's father. Himmelstein lived in the Allegheny Woods Run District of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He and his brother enlisted towards the end of World War I and were not sent overseas. His family owned a local dairy near the edge of Riverview Park.
