DescriptionAluminum 12 ounce can with a pull-off tab top. Main body of the can is white and has an image of a Pittsburgh Steeler running with the ball. As he goes around the can the image is repeated to look as though he is in motion and the image gradually changes from a man in an early uniform to the present day uniform. Above this image are four, orange Iron City Beer logos alternating with an image of a yellow pennant with "Steelers 50 Seasons" written on top of it. Historical NotesThe Pittsburgh Brewing company issues many commemorative cans celebrating the city. In the 1970s their series of Pittsburgh sports team cans were especially popular. The company continues to issue new cans that honor Pittsburgh sports heros and traditions.
