Brass microscope with metal stage, and hard plastic(?) base. Printed on eyepiece is magnification specification. Measurements also engraved on objectives. Engraved on top of base is maker information. Swivel mirror above base.
Wooden box. Handle on top. Door opens on front. Keyhole present. Compartment inside box has areas lined with purple felt.
