DescriptionFramed oil painting on canvas, landscape, a town is surrounded by hills and trees as well as train tracks with two trains going in opposing directions. There are two bridges over the creek one for trains and one for road traffic. The majority of the structures are white with brown roofs. Historical NotesThe painting was donated to Westinghouse Electric Corporation by Henry Latrobe Vaughan in 1953. Vaughan was the son of the painter, John Vaughn, Sr. It was then donated to the George Westinghouse Museum by Westinghouse Electric Corporation. Transferred to the Heinz History Center when the museum closed in 2007.
