Historical NotesOriginal sketch of the cartoon "Strictly Business" which was started by donor Ann Koepke's father, Dale McFeatters, in 1941. McFeatters, a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, became a business reporter with the Pittsburgh Press, and he originally drew the cartoons in order to liven up the business section. The cartoon was nationally syndicated later that same year and ran until 1984. Dale continued to draw for the paper even after he began a job in public relations at Westinghouse in 1945.
