Historical NotesLarge painting by Rob Evans that was reproduced as a graphic mural in the Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum's Baseball section. The painting shows Forbes Field as it looked October 13, 1960, the day of the final game of the 1960 World Series between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the New York Yankees. The scene is based on research using photographs, news accounts, and film.
