(2.5 x 8.3 cm)InscriptionsRibbon has inscription "PENNSYLVANIA / DAY / SEPT. 4TH; beneath this is an "I", a backwards "P", a frontwards "P", and an "E". The "P"'s are taller than the "I" and "E", and contain images of the continents, as on a map. Beneath those letters is the date "1915". These inscriptions are embossed onto the ribbon with gold ink.
