InscriptionsOn gold-toned pin near top, the years "1863" (left) and "1889" (right) with a decorative motif in the center of years are engraved. Printed in gold-toned ink, top ribbon reads: "CAMERON / CLUB". Text on the exposed piece of ribbon reads: "PHILADELPHIA".
MarksPrinted in center on back: "CLARENCE A. HART & CO. / MANUFACTURERS OF / BADGES & BANNERS / 133 N. THIRD ST. / PHILADELPHIA / INAUGURATION / BENJ. HARRISON / MARCH 4th, 1889".
Historical NotesPolitical ribbon for the Cameron Club. Simon Cameron was Secretary of War under Abraham Lincoln and a U.S Senator representing Pennsylvania. Maker's mark on reverse side indicates it was created for the Inauguration of President Benjamin Harrison on March 4th, 1889.
