DescriptionOff white/yellowish celluloid(?) hair comb in the design of a fan. Oriental-style design. Fan design contains two parrots with outstretched wings and tree branches. Below fan design there are seven narrow teeth, each 3.25-inches in length. Tips of teeth curve upward. Comb is curved. Back of comb is smooth.Dimensions9 x 8 in. (22.9 x 20.3 cm)
Historical NotesHair comb belonged to Anna Ohlman Frank, donor Stephanie Frank Mallinger's grandmother. Part of a collection that includes hair combs, lap robe, Red Cross items, wedding dress and veil, convention medal, and WWI banners and flags.
