Historical NotesWooden sculpture made from molds used to make mill parts. Anatol "Tony" Rychalski, who worked for U. S. Steel as a general manager-commercial of U. S. Steel Realty Development, was a part of the redevelopment of USS's Ellwood City's plant. There he found hundreds of obsolete molds left over from the carpentry shop that were used to make mechanical parts for the mill. Rychalski saved many of these components from destruction and created artistic sculptures in his garage. The sculptures were displayed at Century III Mall, West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, which was once a U. S. Steel slag disposal site.
