Part of a collection related to Respironics and the Sleep-Easy system.Label TextMcGinnis spent more than a decade working in research and development of medical devices – at Westinghouse, then with Dr. George Magovern at Allegheny General Hospital –before starting his own company. His academic training and research work training allowed him to envision newer, less expensive ways to address the challenges of respiratory care. His use of disposable plastics made many of his innovations marketable.
