Historical NotesAshtray from a fundraiser at the Swap-A-Rama when Isadore “Fred” Dupin was the commissioner on Neville Island. He had the ash trays made for the fundraiser in the 1960s. The donor remembers selling them at the event. They were made in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. Donor Patty Dominick’s parents met after WWII. Her father, Isadore “Fred” Dupin, was a tank driver during the war, and after the war he worked for Duquesne beer. He was also a volunteer fireman in Robinson Township, Pennsylvania. He was the Democratic Commissioner for Robinson Township from the 1960s until his death in 1981.
