Historical NotesPart of a collection of moon and star pattern glass mostly made by L.E. Smith in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania. The collection donated by Shirley Stuart who started collecting moon and star pieces in the 1960s. Some may be part of later reproduction series made by Weishar Enterprises. These items demonstrate the popularity of the moon and star pattern among collectors, the way modern glass companies continue to reproduce classic designs, and expand the glass collection of the History Center.
