Historical NotesMaterial related to the Western Pennsylvania Youth Basketball Club, a non-profit organization founded by the donor in 1990, including items related to the Eat'n Park Roundball Classic, trophies, pins, programs, t-shirts including a 2002 WNBA draft t-shirt autographed by Swin Cash. With a mission to further girls' basketball in the region and provide scholarship opportunities for high school athletes, the organization hosted basketball tournaments, offered scholarships, and inducted players into a Girls Basketball Hall of Fame. This collection documents the rise of high school girls' basketball in the region and the role played by Bob Gallagher in furthering girls' athletics.
