The front of the medal has a raised design of a swimmer diving into the water at the left and and image of two rowers on the right. Text along right section. Historical NotesPittsburgh Press Regatta Medal. Donated by Cleon Wingard, whose mother, Lenore Kight Wingard, was an Olympic swimmer and an internationally renowned athlete in the 1930s. She participated in the 1932 and 1936 Olympic Games.
