Maker's mark etched into the plastic handle "KING'S DOUBLE TEMPER RAZOR".

Makers mark on the blade "GUARANTEED DOUBLE TEMPER / HARDER THAN A FILE / MADE FOR USE IN THE HOME" and neck of metal on one side "King Razor Mfg. Co. / INDIANA, PA" and on other side "King's Double Temper".

Historical NotesPart of a collection of hair salon supplies used at Josephine’s Beauty Salon on Liberty Avenue in Bloomfield. Josephine Mazzacco (1911-2012) opened Josephine’s after graduating from Griffith in 1931. She opened her own shop in 1947, and it closed in 1995.
