Straight pin in back.Dimensions0.375 x 4.125 in. (1 x 10.5 cm)Historical NotesSamuel Schwartz was born January 12, 1925, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Before joining the Army, he was manager at a retail liquor store. Schwartz began active service in the U.S. Army in November 1942. During his time fighting in World War II, he was awarded three military honors: the Good Conduct Medal, the American Theater Ribbon, and the World War II Victory Ribbon; he was never injured in battle. In February 1946, he was given an Honorable Discharge. Samuel Schwartz died on December 28, 1992 and is buried in Kether Torah Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
